Community Meeting to Envision the Next Decade: Centers for Ocean Sciences Education Excellence Nov. 3-4, 2010, Washington, DC (Apply to attend by Sept. 10)
COSEE is a national network of distributed centers that integrates ocean sciences research and education (www.cosee.net). As its tenth year of funding approaches, the National Science Foundation (NSF) will assess the Network’s progress and future funding potential in an upcoming Decadal Review process. Community input is being sought to determine priorities and how this program can best support and catalyze other ocean science education efforts at all levels, if continued NSF funding is provided. NSF encourages a broad range of participants, especially individuals who are not currently involved in the National COSEE Network. Travel support is available - apply by Sept. 10 to attend.
